Nature, roots and commitment
Caring for Doñana from within
At Kukutana, respect for nature is not a trend: it is a way of life that has been passed down through generations. We were born and raised on a farm in the heart of the Doñana Natural Area, learning from an early age the value of this unique environment and the need to preserve it for future generations.
Our commitment to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) reinforces this vocation: we work every day to ensure that our equestrian, hiking and cycling activities contribute to the protection of Doñana’s ecosystems and the well-being of those who live there.
Responsible tourism with soul
At Kukutana, we are committed to a model of tourism that combines tradition, nature and local culture. We promote small group tours, encourage the hiring of local guides and professionals, and prioritise the use of local resources.
In addition, we raise awareness among our visitors about the importance of enjoying Doñana without leaving a trace: respecting paths, wildlife and vegetation.
A commitment we share with you
As a visitor, you are also part of this commitment. Every gesture counts: choosing local businesses, reducing the use of plastics, respecting signage, consuming local products, or simply admiring the landscape in silence and with attention.
So, together, we help keep this natural space alive.
What does it mean to be part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism?
It means participating in a partnership between Doñana National and Natural Park, businesses and public administrations to ensure a balance between tourism development and conservation. It involves working in a coordinated manner so that tourist experiences bring real benefits to the area and reinforce the cultural and natural identity of Doñana.
A legacy that continues
At Kukutana, we want every visitor to feel what we felt as children in this farmhouse: the magic of sunrises over the marshes, the silence of the pine forests, the flight of the herons.
Choosing Kukutana means joining us on a responsible journey that honours our roots and protects the soul of Doñana.
